Review: Friends, this little devotional book is really helpful. John G. Lake was used mightily by the Lord Jesus both here and in Africa as a missionary. This book basically focuses on Lake's teaching of our unity with the Living God (hebrews 2:11) and how as we humble ourselves under His Almighty hand, He will use us to advance His Heavenly Kingdom. This book convinced me to buy the "Life and Teachings" of this guy also available here at Amazon. This humble methodist missionary lived what many others only talk about. Read of his experiences with illness, about his sanctification and Holy Spirit Baptism. God used him to preach the Gospel of our Lord all over the world: countless people were saved, limbs regrew, cancers withered and people were sanctified and Holy Spirit baptized throughout the ministry of John G. Lake. This 20th Century Apostle went home to be with the Lord in 1935, but his life still impacts many today.
