Summary: A great book
Review: This book is actually a collection of 4 of his smaller works (The search for the Historical Jesus, The Sermon on the Mount, The Lord's Prayer, and The Central Message of the New Testament.). Like everything else Jeremias wrote, this is superb. However, I would only recommend it to serious Bible students. This is not easy reading and the level of material is targeted for an educated audience. If one of the smaller titles in this book appeal to you, I suggest buying this one just for the added value.
