Summary: A small price.
Review: Allah sent the quran. It is his speech. The written manuscript is created but the words of Allah can never be tampered with, as they are him. They have changed the paper book but they cannot change Allah. Islamic scholar, Ath-Thawry said " The Qur'an is the speech of Allah and is not one of the created things. Whoever says other than this, then he is a disbeliever."
Imaam Ahmad ibn Hanbal was imprisoned because he refused to declare the Qur'an as a creation. The paraphrased meaning of what he said is "If the Qur'an is a creation then let's have a funeral for it." The Quran is preserved in the book of decrees and is intamperable. In the Quran, Allah says "To him exclusively belongs the Creation and The Command. Blessed is Allah the Lord of Existence."
They traded guidance for a small price.

Summary: A painfully poor Attack on Muslims and the Qur'an
Review: Dr. Anis Shorrosh's poor attempts to degrade, defile, offend and reinterpret the qur'an's natural teachings are so known today in the Western Islamic world. In trying to bash, reinterpret, and go around writing and lecturing bad things about islam, he shows how horrible is understanding of the Glorious Qur'an is. Anyone who knows the Qur'an, recites it and teaches it will see as soon as they get through the first two Paragraphs of (TTF) in the Opening chapter that it is NOTHING comparable to the Glorious Qur'an. Personally, when i went through this book i laughed at it's poor attempts to mock the Glorious Qur'an. Its such a shame how far out of their way they go to distort and deviate from the Qur'an's natural teachings and earn a profit. I leave with a comment a Criticism and a statment. 1. Comment, there is a big difference between devine inspiration and creative writing. And 2. Statment, No matter how much the author goes astray, I still ask Allah to guide him or her to the straight path. And 3. This attempt only tells the muslim world that people are very envious of their natural devine inspirational teachings and are jelous that their own teaching are nothing like Islam.

Summary: WHY DOES THIS BOOK CAUSE CONTROVERSY?
Review: Firstly, this book does not deserve a star at all!
The problem that the majority of practicing Muslims have with this book is not anything to do with insecurity over the religion at all. While everyone is entitled to choose ones own religion, it is unjust to tamper with the Qur'an by contradicting Islamic laws that have existed for hundreds of years. How can the authors rewrite some of the Holy Book in other contexts. Simply intolerable!
The issue that arises is not that the authors contradict the religion of Islam, as everyone has the freedom of expression. The problem here is that this book is being associated with the Qur'an, as the 'modern version'. Islam and its holy Book is renowned for it never having been changed since the day that it was revealed, so Muslims have a right to be angry.
2) My concern here is that people interested in Islam will read this book and follow a false 'religion'. If interested in Islam, or a convert to Islam, i strongly advise that you read the unedited Qu'ran in its true form and only read this book to realise its attrocity.

Summary: Are you (the writter) gone mad
Review: i wanna say or wanna use very hash words about the book and wanna abuse the writter but the thought in my mind is that if i abuse the book written by the writter they ll obviously abuse our Quraan (which is the true book). so i wanna say only the following lines.
i only say that the writter wants to change the Holy Quraan but they can not change it, because Allah took the PROMISE to save the Holy Quraan.

Summary: A decitful book
Review: I wouldn't even rate it as a 1 star book if I had option to do so. It is totally misleading book. Given that everyone is allowed freedom of expression but the biggest sin is to associate this book's contents with the holy Quran. This book tries to give misleading representation of islamic beliefs. People interested in reading about Islam should only read complete real holy Quran.

Review: In the Quran, God says "We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption)" Saffee's attempt to convince people of another quran is a waste of everyone's time. Furthermore it is a grave insult to all Muslims.
Islam is unique in that it is the only religion whose holy text remains uncorrupted and unchanged since it came down from God more than 1400 years ago. Other religious texts, such as the bible and the taurah, have been corrupted and can no longer be considered holy. This pathetic attempt to bring Islam's level down to the level of corruption and mistruths enjoyed by modern-day christianity and judaism is nothing more than that: a pathetic attempt. And it will fail.For those of you who wish to read the Words of God and not the words of evil men, then find yourself a real Quran, and don't waste your money on this.

Review: Just what are they thinking of doing, we dont know.
They are trying to change the words of God and they will never be able to do it.
They are wasting money.
2:75. Have ye any hope that they will be true to you when a party of them used to listen to the word of Allah, then used to change it, after they had understood it, knowingly?
2:76. And when they fall in with those who believe, they say: We believe. But when they go apart one with another they say: Prate ye to them of that which Allah hath disclosed to you that they may contend with you before your Lord concerning it? Have ye then no sense?
2:77. Are they then unaware that Allah knoweth that which they keep hidden and that which they proclaim?
2:78. Among them are unlettered folk who know the Scripture not except from hearsay. They but guess.
2:79. Therefore woe be unto those who write the Scripture with their hands and then say, "This is from Allah," that they may purchase a small gain therewith. Woe unto them for that their hands have written, and woe unto them for that they earn thereby.
These are words of the Quran.
Just like many versions of the Bible they are trying to make many versions of the Quran. They will never be able to do this.

Review: Now, now children. Must we be so horribly judgmental? The truth is, this piece of work claims to be the "Truth", just like every religion since the beginning of time has. Most of the people that wrote horrid reviews, actually made themselves seem very insecure about their religion. No one on God's green earth, can change or manipulate ones' mind, unless they allow themselves to be converted. Religion, is merely a way of the powerful and rich, to control ones way of life. To me it seems rather ironic that most Muslim people these days, are more concerned about Islam and Mohammad, than they are God. That my dear friend, is a shame. People are so caught up in what they want to believe is right, that they forget how to be companionate and loving. This world does not need more frantic, religious know-it-all people. It needs people that think on solid facts and on realistic views. Yes, I do believe in God. But not constricting people into a mold of corruption through religion.
