Summary: Lies from the Pulpit courageously challenges our thinking
Review: From the first chapter to the last, Ms.Wiedeman challenges us to
question what most Christians believe to be truth. Not only does she challenge us, she supports her statements with both logic and Biblical proofs. This is a book for anyone who is willing to open their minds and explore what the Bible teaches.

Summary: Seek Truth
Review: This book lays out many modern Christian doctrines and their teachings - many of which are not Biblical. This book challenges the reader to logicaly look for themselves for Biblical Truth - not just take the word of pastors and preachers as Truth. This book is well worth reading!

Summary: LIES FROM THE PULPIT
Review: THIS IS A CLEAR AND EASY TO READ BIBLE EXPOSITION. SHOWS INDIRECTLY HOW TO DO A BIBLE STUDY BY COLLECTING RELEVANT BIBLE PASSAGES AND EXAMINING THEM CAREFULLY. PROMPTS YOU TO GET OUT YOUR OWN BIBLE AND SERIOUSLY CONSIDER HER ARGUMENTS IN THE LIGHT OF THE PASSAGES QUOTED. I FELT HER VARIOUS TRANSLATION COMPARISONS ON THE 'SOUL' WORTH THE PRICE OF THE BOOK ALONE! WHAT I LIKED BEST WAS THE CAREFUL THOUGHT PUT INTO HER ARGUMENTS AND THE SIMPLICITY OF PRESENTATION WHICH MADE IT VERY UNDERSTANDABLE AND READABLE...SO MUCH SO THAT IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO PUT THE BOOK DOWN UNTIL I'D FINISHED IT! I HOPE THE AUTHOR WILL CONTINUE TO WRITE ON BIBLICAL TOPICS IN THE FUTURE.
