Review: This is a wonderful resource, clear, simple, but with great depth. It is very valuable in bringing to mind many female biblical characters who are often forgotten. I use it in my daily private prayers but it would also be extremely useful as a liturgical resource in many settings. Mary Louise Bringle's hymns are beautiful and can easily be set to well-known hymn tunes. I would love to find a larger collection of her texts. My gratitude goes to both Ms. Bringle and J. Frank Henderson for compiling and publishing this volume. I hope they do more.
