Summary: Wonderful Anthology of Kuyper's Works
Review: James D. Bratt's collection of Kuyper includes works that underlie a lot of the philosophy/theology and history put into Kuyper's Lectures on Calvinism. Much of the work in here has to do with criticism of the theological liberalism of his time and the philosophical problems raised by opposing thinkers.

The book is broken into four sections: (1) reflections on early life; (2) church and theology; (3) politics and society; (4) culture and education. Key works among these include "Modernism: A Fata Morgana in the Christian Domain" which criticizes theological liberalism; selections from his three volume set on common grace; and his inaugural address at Free University on the sphere of sovereignty (among others). The book also includes a brief biographical discussion on Kuyper related to the above four sections.

Last, this book throughout includes short snip-its from Kuyper's popular publications (e.g., De Standaard). I highly recommend this for those wanting to learn about Kuyper; otherwise, good luck finding another means of getting an English translation!
