Summary: Drop-dead Funny Stuff on Kids
Review: I can't look at this title without grinning and I can't pick this book up and read a paragraph without laughing. If you have kids or grandchildren or you just know some kids, you'll love this. Max Lucado is one of a dozen popular authors and singers who has endorsed this and it's been recommended by Focus on the Family as well. Rumor is James Dobson almost drove off the road laughing while listening to a tape of Phil Callaway speaking, so that's good enough for me. The book contains 44 short hilarious stories, that don't just make you laugh, they make you think. I found myself hugging my kids more often, and even helping out around the home. This book is a huge blessing!

Summary: Life changing laughter
Review: I just heard this author on Focus on the Family. He was hilarious. He also spoke deeply to my heart. The topic was guys, which he alliterated as G-grace-filled, U-Understanding, Y-Yielded, and S-Successful. This book is absolutely hilarious, but full of down-home wisdom and truth. You will not be disappointed. Be sure to order his others, especially Making Life Rich Without Any Money, which Max Lucado has called "A sparkling star." You'll learn about the joys of a SITCOM family (single income three children oppressive mortgage), and be challenged to remember that the best things in life are not things, after all.

Summary: Laugh until you cry
Review: These 43 short stories had me laughing so hard I had tears rolling down my face. Phil Callaway is an award-winning humorist whose goal isn't just to make us laugh but to make us learn about the things that really matter. From the early daze of parenthood to the mischief of toddlerhood and the white knuckles of the teenage years, these stories of laughter and hope remind us that at the worst of times, the best is coming. When we listen to our children and remember the children we used to be, we'll never be short on laughter. Callaway believes one four letter word we should use more around the house is HOPE. This book is full of it. I couldn't recommend it more highly. Best-selling author Max Lucado says, "Need a shot of sunlight on a cloudy day? This book's for you. Need a whisper of God's love in a noisy life? You'll hear it as you turn these pages." I'd recommend buying six copies of this one for birthday and Christmas gifts.
