Review: I have taught romance classes for 20 years. This book is one of only two I recommend. The other is the Bible. Dr. Rosberg captures the essence of relationship within the reality of living real life. I concur 100% with his views. This book is a true guideline to success in relationship. Do yourself and anyone you care about and and read the book!

Review: Thank you Gary! Splintered family? Fractured relationships? Are you involved in leadership? Corporation gone through a re-organization? Merger? This book's title really does "say it all." Gary provides the steps involved in remedying unresolved conflict ... in mending strained, broken, exploded and shattered relationships ... and while it centers upon significant family members the process is applicable to anyone, anywhere, under any conditions. I read it in a day. Practice and application will take a bit longer ;) It's so GRAND! to have the process succinctly outlined, with examples galore, and hard spots not ducked nor glossed over. And it's also a great study group book and teaching tool for anyone in leadership and dealing with conflict! Thank you Gary!

Summary: I did not just read this book, I applied it.
Review: When my son was about 22 years old, we had a big disagreement where I gave him three months to find a place and move out of the house. I did not want to do this, but I had to use tough love for his own good, so that he could learn to take responsibility and meet his commitments when he has his own family. It was very difficult to implement this decision especially for my wife.

I wanted to make sure that we separate in a loving way. I thank God for having the opportunity for being in a men's seminar where I met Dr. Gary Rosberg. He told us about the book that was about to be published. I ordered it right away. I applied most of Dr. Rosberg's recommendations. I took my son and went camping to Pismo Beach for two nights. There I followed the part in the book that deals with the person who we are attempting to mend the relationship.

It worked. I like to report that now my son is 28 years old, has a family of his own. We are blessed with our first grand son. We have such a great relationship where he calls me at work a few times a week and we get together with his family minimum once a week. Once a month he and I get together alone for dinner, where we spend quality time just father and son. I am sure he will have better relationship with his son because of this experience. I give all the credit first to God, then to Gary Rosberg and his book, " Dr. Rosberg's Do-It-Yourself Relationship Mender". Since I got so much out of this book, I am seriously thinking to facilitate a few workshops at my church and outside to help others apply the principles that are eloquently described in this book.
