Summary: Desparate Hope Gives Hope
Review: A friend gave me this book when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I cryed through every chapter as it helped me to deal with all the physical and emotional things one deals with. It will encourage you in your faith in God and give you the comfort of hearing how others processed their grief.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: great gift idea
Review: I've never even dealt with breast cancer, but I HAVE dealt with loss of dreams, shock and anger about my "life plan" not working out the way I wanted. This book is wonderful for dealing with all those feelings. Full of anecdotes from the trenches--women who have BEEN THERE and understand. I would recommend this book those suffering from breast cancer and their spouses and friends.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Wonderful resourse book
Review: We are part of the book Desperate Hope. God has chosen to bring cancer patients into our life. This book has been more than inspirational to those we have given it to. Because so many stories are told in this book, it hits personal struggles of a variety of people. This book is not a Fairy Tale story where every one always lives happily ever after. Some included are no longer with us. Barbara has made this a very real, informative and encouraging book. Great reading for all types of struggles, not just cancer.
