Summary: God used this book to redifine my faith
Review: I recommend all of Ron Auch's books in varying degrees, but this one really sums up alot of his teachings into a wonderful study of the Song of Solomon. In this book you'll be challenged to seek a life in God beyond the armchair Christianity that saturates the church. The author clearly draws the line between Christians who are constantly looking for blessings; for God to pour out his spirit - and the Christians who are so in love with their God that they pour out their spirits for him - which then joins them to God to experience his presence yet deeper. In having read this book, I have discovered that the world's system easily strips me of the principles found in this book if I don't maintain perspective by spending time with God. I have dried up before because of various reasons - only to find that when I return to this book that I am reminded and challenged of God again and then I return to the scriptures and the prayer closet with a renewed spirit enabled to drink yet deeper of the Living Waters of life in Christ. I caution you that if you buy and read this book, you might end up buying more to give to others!
