Summary: Refreshingly honest Christian character
Review: All throughout reading this book I got the distinct impression that the main character was closely based on a real person. Her reactions to the the events in her life, especially the tragedies, were not what I expected from the main character of a Christian fiction novel who starts out by dedicating herself as "an experiement in obedience" to God. She was often questioning, angry and weak. Just like the rest of us, except she did a lot more for God's Kingdom than most of us. One problem I had with the story, I have to say, was this idea of someone's life being an "experiment" in obedience. What scientific theory was she trying to prove?

Summary: Moving!
Review: Shame on anyone who walked away from this book unchanged! I found myself crying and laughing out loud. It made me and still makes me press on toward the goal of the upward call in Christ Jesus! Every christian woman with prodigal children and tragedy should read this book. The point (which obviously some of the readers giving it less than 4 stars missed) is that even if you must walk with Jesus seemingly alone for what ever reason, you must continue to walk with Him trusting Him and clinging to Him. Our reward is not here its in Heaven. My grandfather died (when i was 4) before he saw anyone in his family saved and 19 years later the first (me) was saved. Imagine if he would have thrown in the towel. His motto and mine is "Though None Go With Me Yet I WILL Follow". Thank you Mr. Jenkins for writing this heartfelt life changing (for me anyway) novel!

Summary: AWESOME, AWESOME LOVE STORY
Review: This is absolutely one of the best love stories that I have ever read. I normally do not read novels. If it isn't true, I don't care to read it. This book is an EXCEPTION. It is a MUST READ for all Christians. Anyone that feels they have suffered in living the Christian life will be praising God for His goodness after reading this book. May God raise up many more "Elizabeths." And where are all the Wills?
