Summary: Sorely lacking in depth -- Keep on looking for another book
Review: I found this book containing only cursory information. If you have absolutely no clue about basic accounting, this book may be of help to you. However, as a newly elected church treasurer with an extensive accounting background, I was looking for answers for questions that are beyond the basic handling of church receipts and the paying of bills. Even though my questions were beyond the basics, I believe they are questions that most church treasurer's will face. None of my questions were answered in this book. In today's automated society, I also felt the area covering computerized church accounting sorely lacking and out-of-date. Unfortunately, this was a waste of my money.
