Review: This is an excellent book. Newman's sermons are some of the best I have read. He takes the faith seriously, and his sermons showcase his erudite and eloquent style - though be warned they are dense. This edition also has a long, helpful intro essay that covers Newman's background and his main theological emphases. Highly recommended.
