Summary: Not for the feeble-minded
Review: I don't have much time to write this, but I do want to let readers of Christian romances know that Marilyn Kok, a serious Evangelical, has never been able to write the fluff that so many editors seem to want in this genre. If you read this book, be prepared to think deeply about who God is and how he reveals Himself to us. Also--and I promise you will--enjoy!

Summary: Refreshing theology but not a fave
Review: The previous review prompted me to post as well. Glory hasn't been one of my favorites from the Palisades series, but the previous review is correct in the content of the book. Glory does deal with deeper theology issues than most romance books do, and it is refreshing. Upon reflection, that probably is my favorite part of the book, how she brings Mariel into an encounter with the reality of who God is and isn't, and who man is and isn't. In fact, the parts of the book I remember most are the part where she's in Hong Kong and writes pages and pages about Moses, the Psalms, Paul her feelings for Adam, and all the things going on in her head. And the part where she's back in Taipei with Adam and he explains to her how man brings glory to God, and God is in the center, not man. At last she gets it. So while not on my list of favorites, Glory is a good read in its own right.
