Review: This is a well researched book on the toppic of the sermon on the mount. This will be of most intrest to LDS readers who have been to the temple. This book places the sermon in a temple context, which was an eye-opening expirience to me.

For those not of the LDS faith, they might find intrest in the questions addressed in this book relating to the differences of the sermon as it is found in Mathew and the sermon recorded in the Book of Mormon. Welch also deals with the question of the authership of the sermon and relating problems to the Book of Mormon text.

Reading this book has helped me see this sermon in a new light and to appreciate it more than I ever have.
