Summary: I really liked this book
Review:

This is an easy to read yet valueable commentary on the book of Revelation.
Interesting, informative and entertaining, as David Jeremiah always is.

But be warned...this is no ordinary commentary. The format is loose, and
often devotional in tone. But it is a nice shift from the standard format.
You wont want to take notes while reading this book. Just enjoy.

If you are looking for hardcore exegesis or comparisons of various interpretive
methods, this is not the book to buy. It does not plumb the depths of textual
issues get into the greek text. Other fine commentaries are available for that.

I recommend David Reagan's Wrath and Glory as great commentary on Revelation
(though there are many of course!)

Summary: It does not tell you to escape at all, but to be prepared.
Review: As I read the title I thought it was again one of these cheap, unedifying messages with weak biblical basis. But I was wrong. Dr. David Jeremiah opened to me in just a few days of reading how real the end time is drawing nigh, how unprepared we could be. While there is still grace, let us not waste the time. God is pouring out His grace before the Rapture of The Body of Christ. I am going to be taken up to the heavens to meet my Lord Jesus. What about you?

Summary: If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would!!!
Review: David Jeremiah has done an outstanding job in his book "Escape the Coming Night." If you don't understand the book of Revelation, this book is a must-read for you. Even if you understand Revelation, you're not wasting your time with this book because you still get many things out of it you never thought of before. Don't pass on by the book shelf without passing this one up!

Summary: The End Of Millennium Madness
Review: David Jeremiah is one of the best Authors out today in Christendom. If you read this book it will put to rest all the millennium madness that is preached today. Jeremiah Truly teaches the truth concerning end times. Based on the book of revelations this book gives assurance to believers and warnings to those who are unbelievers. A must read to all.

Summary: Too many errors
Review: I was enjoying Mr. Jeremiah's chapter on what the spirit
said to the seven churches. Then I came upon this
comment by the author: "Herodotus, the historian, records
that over the course of many years the church in Sardis had
acquired a reputation for lax moral standards." My enthusiasm
dropped a bit with that. Herodotus wrote his history in 440 B>C. That was hundreds of years before the Christian era.
The report on the Sardis church had to have come from some other historian. I tried to ignore this error and just enjoy
the insights about Revelation. Then, Mr. Jeremiah tells us that
the Emperor Constantine reigned in the third century. Well,
no, he didn't. Constantine was emperor in the fourth century.
Call this nitpicking if you will. After all I'm not a scholar
or a writer. But I am a pretty fair reader, and it seems to me
that an author needs to make sure of all his facts, lest his
readers begin to wonder if he has command of even his main topic. I'll finish the book though. He is probably as much an
authority on the book of Revelation as almost anyone else.

Summary: The book of Revelation simplified!
Review: Most people I've talked to do not fully comprehend the message that Revelation relates (nor do I). Simply put, a child can understand Dr. Jeremiah's explanation and the good part is, he backs up what he says with scripture. Be forewarned -- be ready or be eternally sorry. Excellent reading.

Summary: If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would!!!
Review: This book is great!! It is full of information about the book of Revelation in the Bible. Mr. Jeremiah breaks down each verse and explains it in a way everyone can understand. Even a non beliver can read this book and understand the book of Revelation when done reading it. He explains the symbols used by the apostle John. Reading this book renewed my desire to spread God's word to others so they don't have to go through the Tribulation Period. It reasures the christian of their home in Heaven and the Rapture. While reading the book I got excited about the Rapture and I am looking forward to it. This is an excellent book. I highly recommend this book to everyone.
