Summary: Outstanding book and powerful insight into Revelation.
Review: Scotty Smith has done an outstanding job of making Revelation applicable to the common reader. His insight into the concepts that permeate the Book of Revelation offer guidance for personal and corporate worship. So many writers deal with issues about Revelation that are either bad theology or dwell on minutia. This book uncovers the pratical nature of Revelation and its relevance to the church/Christian universal. I recommend it highly. It's my understanding the book is out of print. I hope the publishers republish and market this book. It's outstanding.

Summary: Wisdom on Worship
Review: This book contains Scotty Smith's exposition of the book of Revelation and Michael Card's reflections on Revelation and how they shaped the songs on his album, Unveiled Hope. I gained great insight into worship from this book--how the perfect worship we'll enjoy someday at Jesus' throne should inspire our worship of the risen Lamb this side of heaven. I highly recommend this book.

Summary: Unveiled Hope reviewed
Review: This is an execellent and simple discussion of the contents of the last book of the Bible, The book of Revelation. Instead of trying to do what many commentators try, Scotty Smith does not attempt to make the content of his messages support or provide a millenial viewpoint. Rather he seeks to explain the words and images in the book to show what the real hope of the Christian faith is. The book came out of a series of sermons preached to a group of people who were planting a church that was reaching many budding musicians with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Along with the messages, well known Christian musician Michael Card appends many chapters by sharing his thoughts on how his music album with the same title as the book came into being. This is a valuable commentary that the average layman can understand and be edified by. I highly recommend it to your readers.
