Review: I know R.C. Sproul has often commented how serious books about the person and work of Christ are about the slowest selling books in Christian bookstores. People would rather read all sorts of garbage, as a result there are few good books on the shelves pertaining to His person and work. Anyway, I pass along a fine book which focuses on the Lord Jesus Christ. The book is a collection of communion sermons written by the 19th century Presbyterian J. W. Alexander. The book is published by Banner of Truth and is inexpensive, the collections title is "God Is Love." I give the book my highest rating because of the preeminence given to my Lord and King.
