Review: There is plenty of commentary on this translation, so do your research! If you are used to the NIV, get ready because you may find some neat surprises in this translation. Gone are some familiar 'poetic' verses...replaced by more accurate text for your study. I have found the CSB a great addition to my King James and New Living Translations.

The binding is quite good for the price, and the pages lay fairly flat when reading. The bible is in fact, thin, so you will sacrifice some paper thickness; do not be alarmed, the quality of the paper is not an issue here. The reference text is a bit small for reading, and I find myself squinting often and pulling the bible closer to my eyes. The typeface for scripture however, is a pleasure to read resulting in absolutely no eye fatigue whatsoever. This is without exception, the best bible version I own. Exciting!
