Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Many Topics, Minimum Coverage
Review: Facts, Myths, and Maybes is an excellent source book for much of the disputed areas of Roman Catholicism today. It is an extremely easy read, and fairly easy to digest. Although at times I feel Deedy lingers on the liberal side of things, I enjoyed the insight he offered. It is a scholarly work, but I was quite disappointed at a lack of references and foot notes. There were a couple of times I noticed that Deedy's theology may be flawed. Nonetheless, FMM is great to have around to answer some daunting questions. It doesn't replace the Cathechism nor is it intended to. A better read for Catholics than for non-Catholics seeking information.
