Summary: An outstanding book on finding the heart of God
Review: Bob Sorge's journey for the past 6 1/2 years is one of heartache, trial, the temptation to quit, and ultimately the story of a servant of God who finds his primary purpose in the face of the Creator. This book chronicles the period of time that the author calls a "season", meaning that coupled with the faith that God heals and makes whole is a deeper need built within us to find our Savior as a compassionate and powerful God who is not intimidated by our sometimes difficult jouney through life as a Christian. Chapter 5's emphatic statements on our need to find a hunger for God, rather than always being a servant of the flesh, has had a major impact on my life, ministry and the lives of those around me who have taken the "dare" to consume this book and then be consumed with an honest pursuit in the Face of God.

Mature Christians can definately benifit from this book, which is VERY easy to read.Thanks be to God, who pruned the voice from one fine Pastor to make an even bigger impact through his gifted writing!!!
