In "Jesus the Christ," he leads the reader into Christology (the identity of Jesus Christ) in a slightly less-intensely-academic manner. With cross-references to the Catechsim of the Catholic Church, and spanning everything from the history of the Church's developing refinement in Christological belief to the reader's own new life in the Spirit as a baptised and confirmed Christian, Weinandy's book is perfect for those who want to be able to answer, with Peter, "you are the Christ, the Son of God" when asked "who do you say that the Son of Man is?"
