Summary: Helpful and better than many secular sex books
Review: First off I come from a what can best be described as a liberal or wild mode (in the past) so there is little that shocks me when it comes to sex talk. This is why I loved this book because it does what Ed Wheat and other Christians are finally doing and that is talking honestly about sex and how during different stages of life and marriages our bodies change and how we can renew the intimacy of marriage.

There are, believe it or not, a number of Christians who fall into two different groups. One side you have the Christians who have succumbed to secular and in my opinion rather vulgar sex info. The other side is made up of Christians who have sexual issues in their marriage, and be it myths that say that nice Christians do not talk about "those things" the marriage stays in a day to day rut. Nothing gets better and if lucky nothing gets worse. But the intimacy is dead.

The Lahayes are blunt but in a civil manner, and discuss the most intimate issues and problems that may effect a couple when it comes to sexual pleasure. Coming from a Jewish background, and now in a Christian marriage I am glad they recognize that G~d made sexual pleasure for the marriage bed and that sexual pleasure is good. I would also recommend Kosher Sex another great book on sex.

Summary: Excellent!
Review: I found this book to be very informative about middle age and beyond, marriage, physical problems, exercise, health, E.D., and, especially, sex life. It includes a section on hygiene, sexual positions, and sexual techniques, and everything is written from the Christian point of view. I found it very helpful and interesting. I would like to read the original "The Act of Marriage" to complement it.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: You already know what it's going to say.
Review: News Flash: this book is exactly the same is everything else the LaHayes have ever written. Don't let the 'over 40' fool you. The advice is only marginally different from what they tell the under 40 marrieds.

Here, I'll save you the cash : "Keep adhering to scriptural principles throughout your entire life"

Now take the money you saved and give it to the needy.
