Summary: Very disappointing
Review: Another supposed recollection of the life of Christ based on the Akashic records. This book has very little about the philosophy of the Essenes and even less about the life of Christ. Based on the little amount of the speaking of Christ in this book, the title is very misleading. It is really a fictional account of a boy who is trained in the ways of the Essenes and later becomes a disciple of Christ. While there is some good spiritual imagery painted from time to time for the most part the book is drab and unconvincing.

Little, if anything, of the knowledge held by the Essenes has survived till today. It is even in doubt how much, if any, contact Jesus has with the Essenes. Slightly (only slightly) more realistic are the works of Edmond Bordeaux Szekely. More convincing accounts of Christs life based on Akashic records are found in The Aquarian Gospel Of Jesus The Christ by Levi H. Dowling.

Summary: Wonderful and clear unknown history of Essenes and Jesus!
Review: As an spiritualist, this book was of extrème importance for me, and I think also for everyone that believes in Christ. It brought many detailing aspects of the essenes and Jesus life, sometimes giving another names to what -I beleive - are essential concepts of the spiritualism... the subtil passage from body to soul and from soul to body... Moments like the reading and the cure of the diseases, the way of see the food and to feed ourselves, to conduct our lives through the search our interior truths, not through spécific religions, and finally the apearances of Jesus and his crucifiction, as a construction of a symbol to the humanity, were the most intructive for me. Excelent work!! I largely recommend!!!

Summary: The Real Story of Jesus
Review: I came accross this book some years back and it remains one of the best books that I have ever read (& re-read). It touches your heart and gives you a glimpse of a time gone by, while subtly drawing you in and making you feel as though you were there. The storyline connected with many 'truths' that I had not previously seen written anywhere. At the end, I was only sorry that it was over. I have recommended it to many people and have given it as a gift several times as well. I highly recommend this book!

Summary: The Essenes and Esoteric Christology
Review: I enjoyed reading this book very much. Of course there are no facts to back any of this up but it gives the reader a sense of what life could have been like back then. The culture, belief systems the spiritual training. It's all very interesting and enjoyable reading.

Summary: Interesting read, but falls a bit short
Review: I enjoyed reading this book, but I was a bit disappointed that more wasn't written about Jesus and his family. It is written here that the Master's mother was of some high order, but it doesn't go into further detail. There is also not much mention of his father. They also discuss many prayers and meditations of the Essenes, learned at the KRML, but don't go very far to describe any of them.
All in all- a good read that leaves me wanting to read more.

Summary: Very disappointing
Review: I found this to be an interesting and thought provoking book. However, I think the reviewers of this book overdid it. I didn't find this book to be the end all of information about Christ and his life. I didn't find this book to be the most spiritually provoking book. It is just that- a very interesting and thought provoking book.

Summary: Informative and Enlightening Insights
Review: Not the easiest book to read. Lots of heavy reading that required many re-reads in various parts of the book, which is an inspiring account into the mystical nature of events surrounding the life of Jesus, the Essene and Jewish communities, the Romans, and the Christ. From the exerpts, one sees new and different insights into strange and supernatural occurrences that religions have interpreted and tailored into what they want us to believe. Be ready to see a different take on the Star of Bethlehem, the moment of when Jesus became the Christ, and the commotion surrounding the crucifixion and its aftermath.

The book reflects the Akashic Records journeys (in 1st person form of each) of the two Essenes who befriended Jesus at an early age, then followed the Master during his teachings and eventual physical death. The book is not all about Jesus, but is also about the people (and their lives) who were influenced by his teachings of Love and Kindness. Its a great book but be prepared to be surprised, amused, and knocked off your conventions.

Summary: The Essenes and Esoteric Christology
Review: This is an extraordinary book for several reasons:
1. Anyone with an open heart and mind will be be spiritually inspired by it to a very high degree, and there is surely little more that one could ever hope for from a book than this.
2. For those familiar with Rudolf Steiner's Christology, this book provides to my knowledge the first independent corroboration of some of the claims he makes about Christ's esoteric genealogy (specifically about his relation to Zarathustra and about the composite nature of the Jesus-Christ individuality). Steiner of course goes into far more detail - based on his own reading of the Akashic record - than do the authors of this book (who hint at much that they do not say explicitly), but the parallels are nonetheless striking. (For those interested in the relevant Steiner material, I would recommend his lecture series entitled 'From Jesus to Christ', as well as the lectures he gave on the gospels.)
3. For those who feel an inner connection with the esoteric streams of religion and Christianity in particular, this book will convey the strong conviction that these traditions are very much alive and accessible to those who seek them in the right way.
