In this day and age when people are searching for truth--and searching everywhere but inside the Christian church--James makes a case for the Jesus of scripture that gets lost in the ugly face of Christianity most people hear about in the media. James'vunerability and authenticity in telling his own journey of faith breaks down the walls of the head and heart and makes it possible for the reader to see GOD. A God who is as interactive and stimulating as the internet. A God who loves people regardless of their personal struggles and sins. A God who loves us unconditionally and wants us to know Him. Well done, James. Had I read this book ten years ago, my own journey of faith would not have been nearly as difficult,
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Read this one. Review: God.Net captures the essense of what it means to be human and yet be on invited upon the journey with the supernatural. Page after page I was drawn in by its authenticity, humor and by the author's willingness to simply be himself. I have bought this book for many of my friends as proof of my belief in its five star rating. A word of caution though. . . this book is not for the those who wish to remain in dark secretive caverns known as modern Christianity. It is book for everyone who has ever found themselves on the backside of the dessert, alone, afraid and wondering will it ever end.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Fresh and Alive!!! Review: I for one am tired of books from people that seem to have nothing fresh to say about God and the way he works in peoples lives. I found this book real; from the way it was presented, to the authors up front and frank way of dealing with his life and faith. I would recommend this to people who want to be real and encounter an authentic relationship with the living God.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Excellent Review: If you are tired by what you have seen or heard when it comes to what you always viewed Christianity to be, you must read this book. It will give you what you knew was out there and what you KNEW was true but never saw, heard, read, or believed. Thank you James.....The truth in your book has touched my heart.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: So Real Review: James Alexander Langteaux uses tech-based analogies along with scripture to describe how to connect with God and grow in a relationship with Him. Throughout the book he draws small portraits of himself by candidly sharing the struggles and pitfalls he faced on his spiritual journey. Infused with a steady flow of pop culture references, twisted metaphors and turns-of-phrase, God.com is a fiercely creative wake-up call for skeptics and believers to break down barriers which hinder an abundant life in God. I highly recommend this book. It's unlike any book I've read on Christian living and I look forward to more of his work.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: I wish we all knew this God Review: James Langteaux's book God.com is one of the most honest and relevant books about searching for truth that I have ever read. I finished the book and had to write a review because James strips away all of the things that we think have to do with God and reveals God at His core - loving, intimate, accepting. God calls each of us on a journey and it's not one of rules, regulations, and judgement, but rather an exciting, interactive adventure that leads to a raw, authentic joy. I commend James on his honesty and vulnerability in sharing his own secrets. His openess is a tremendous example of how Christians are called to live. If we all could drop our masks and live the way James does through his book, just imagine how the world's perception of Jesus would change. . .
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: God.com rocks! Review: Just read James Langteaux's excellent, excellent book, God.com. One of the best books I have ever read! It rocks! It's frank, honest, very witty, humorous, a bit irreverant and it speaks to the very generation we're ALL living in. (O.K. and I also got more than a little teary eyed reading it). God.com engages so well the disenfranchised, the disaffected, to those that maybe have grown up in a Christian home but never made the leap to their own faith. It also speaks to the millions who have grown up as products of divorce, who have longed to have a Father they could trust unflinchingly with their very lives. James Langteaux gets high marks for his very innovative style, prose, and layout of the book. He has done a bold thing with the release of God.com. I'm sure some won't get it and maybe others it will offend, but that's O.K. It's not intended for those who have arrived on their spiritual journey, or I should say who think they have arrived, but in reality have never left the station. James Langteaux has really broken some barriers with this call to a revolution to believe beyond what we can see; a call to extreme intimacy with a highly interactive God. It's clear from this book that God rocks James Langteaux and God.com will rock the world.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Amazing Book Review: Oh how we all think that we can work and struggle to find God and do for HIM everything "we" can instead of letting HIM live through us. James you have captured all of my struggles to find GOD in your book, it's been like a "reformat and fresh install" of my relationship with my Heavenly FATHER! Being a techno junkie and someone who deals with adult ADHD, you have so struck a cord in my heart that I can't stop raving about GOD.COM to all I come into contact with. I know that an intimate encounter is all I need and want! AN ADD MOMENT! I lost just about everything because of my headlong fall into the dark world of sin and addiction but GOD rescued me from a fate that would most certainly have meant an end to this life for me! GOD.COM has been another book that has illuminated my way and helped me see that there are others who struggle and long for intimacy with GOD but don't find it until we hit the wall! LOG back on James and hit the keyboard, I can't wait for GOD.COM 2! GOD bless you my brother for being faithful and honest!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: THE BEST! Review: This is one of the best books that i have ever read. It will really put your spiritual life in perspective.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: "Softwhere" no longer... Review: Truth IS stranger than fiction, and any person who could read this book and accuse the author of even an ounce of fiction must be even more shallow than the Pharisees who looked our Lord Jesus in the face and accused Him of fraud. "GOD.COM" and James Langteaux are tools that only Almighty God Himself could perfect and produce, just as He perfected and produced the Psalms and David. And believe it, or not, James and David had nothing to do with it; the exception being that they BELIEVED.Sure, I caught myself trying to judge James and his heart, but each time, MY heart tried to find it's steel walls to hide behind until FINALLY I realized I was casting the first stone, and then the steel walls disappeared - and now there's no more hiding. My heart had been crying out to meet with the One True God of the Universe, and now I'm on my journey of BELIEVE with no place to hide...no more softwhere...and "thank you a million times, James!, for showing all of us where that journey begins and where it led for you...your courage is that of David's." This book is definitely "dangerous material" because it WILL expose exactly who you were, who you are, and who you have to become...and the first two will probably not be pretty pictures. It is a book for everyone.(period)
