Review: With this book, I have been successful for the first time in my life in reading through the Bible. For each day of the year, the Bible is divided into FIVE chucks. A portion of the Old Testament and New Testament... and a section of Psalms and Proverbs every day with a short devotional to go along with each daily reading. This makes it MANAGEABLE by not having to sit down and tackle the hardest part first. The devotions that corresponded with each reading make them applicable to our everyday lives and are very enjoyable. I highly recommend this Bible/Devotional for anyone wanting to read through the Bible. There is another version of the same title but without "for Women". It has fallish leaves on the cover instead of pinkish flowers. Same exact set up, but the daily devotionals are all different.. more masculine? My life has been greatly enriched by reading this wonderful book. The format really helped me.
