Summary: Needed insight about a global phenomenon
Review: Capturing The Pagan Mind is a book that is tune with the changing world we live in. Dr. Jones makes a strong case that the revival of the gnostic notion of the "Scared Feminine" is on the rise again as it was during the time of the Roman Empire. Almost as if on cue, the Davinci Code by Dan Brown, was published at the same time as this book, vividly illustrating Dr. Jones' point. This book is highly recommended. Dr. Jones performs the essential dual role of historian and theologian to the benefit of his readers.

Summary: Bin it
Review: More ignorant ramblings from someone who hasn't done any research, which is typical of the rabid Christian.

Summary: Excellent But..
Review: This is an important book for all Christians to read! My only request is that Dr Jones should write a sequel which includes the goddess worship of the Roman Catholic Church, and, the emerging military and economic power of United Europe which is quickly exceeding that of the USA! United Europe clearly will become the next Fourth Kingdom of Daniel and will easily replace the USA. I had hoped that this most recent book of Dr Jones would have had at least some passing comments about the greatest goddess worship of all and which has existed in the Roman Catholic Church for hundreds of years, rather than just focussing on an apostasizing USA!
Nevertheless this is a must read!
