Rating: Summary: Shop around first... Review: This printing of the NKJV is good for one, and only 9one, reason--the margins. But there are a good number of other bad points that one might consider before buying.Thick pages make this a very thick Bible, thicker than most study Bibles. This wouldn't be a problem if it prevented markers and highlighters from bleeding, but it doesn't. They bleed just as easily as thin-paged Bibles. So the thick pages offer nothing. The font is printed fairly blurry and inconsistantly fromn page to page. And also, the words of Christ are not in red. For the same price, there are many other Bibles out there made better. But if you've shopped around and are sure this is the one for you, then by all means, have at it.
Rating: Summary: Very Good Edition of the NKJV Review: While Cambridge makes the best Bibles Thomas Nelson has done a wonderful job with this edition of the NKJV. In fact I wish they had a KJV just like it for my collection! The leather is very nice and the text is quite good, with good cross references. I also like it that the text is black letter, not red letter. This is a very good edition of the NKJV, in fact it might be the best NKJV Bible in print. The NKJV is a good literal translation and it still retains the beautiful literary sound of the KJV. There are some who believe that this is the version for memorizing Scripture. Again, this is an excellent edition of the NKJV. Good job Thomas Nelson!!!
