Review: Well, it is not easy. Even if you know NT and Classical Greek, the Septuagint can be hard to translate. This book can be a very useful tool to help you parse the words from the Septuagint.

The words are in alphabetical order, not verse-by-verse, so you really need to be proficient in Greek before this book is of any use to you. Also a warning: this is just a parsing guide, not a translation aid. For instance, if you look-up GEGONASIN, the book will tell you that it is the third person plural perfect of GINOMAI, but you have to know that GINOMAI means (I) become [or (I) am being born], so that GEGONASIN means (they) have become [or (they) have been born]. This book will not tell you what GINOMAI means: you need a second lexicon to look it up.

This book will be most useful if you only use it occasionally, when you are really stuck and can't figure out where a particular word comes from. If you need it more than a few times a page, it probably will be too painful to use.
