Summary: Great Sequel to a Great Book
Review: It was rather interesting how much attention Hauerwas and Willimon got through their book, "Resident Aliens." Even more interesting and entertaining is this excellent sequel. This book clarifies numerous themes from the first book and counters objections raised.

Another interesting feature of this book is that the authors have included marginal quotations from a variaety of sources. Some are scriptures that illustrate their points, some are other commentators voicing their agreements and praises of Hauerwas's Willimon's forst book. But, for the most part these quotes consise of critiques from other writers, many of whom seem to hate what Hauerwas and Willimon did in "Resident Aliens." This makes for an interesting format, that I found quite entertaining and commendable on the part of Hauerwas and Willimon.

This is certainly a book that you should read if you have read resident aliens. This book focuses more on discipleship and cogently explians why Christians should be opposed to war and all forms of violence. It is an excellent sequel to an excellent book.
