Summary: Don't hesitate, buy this book!
Review: I waited a little while before I bought this book because of one of the reviewers bad review. Like many people searching for the truth, you have to make up your own mind about what is truth and what is not. It seems a lot more logical that the Scribes and Pharisees would want to kill "Jesus" because he was exposing their cult as a bunch of lies than him preaching that he was the son of God. In much the same way todays' established religions would not want this book to go public. It always seemed illogical to me that someone with the wisdom that "Jesus" had who was preaching against the false religion of his day would end up the focus of the newest cult religion. Many dogmatic people will scoff at this book because you can't teach and old dog new tricks. If you have an open mind and are looking for some answers I recommend it. Remember early Christians thought the earth was flat, God sat on a cloud above the earth, and they focused a lot more on the Devil than they did on God. Do you think it is possible that the same people that have some of the origional copies of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John also now have this manuscrpit in one of their vaults next to a pile of Gold? I guess you have to make up your own mind.

Summary: To study bible objectively from the historical point of view
Review: If one studies bible from the matter-of-fact point of view, this book probably is the most accurate version of the new testament. All the citations and Jesus' action make sense according to the history and culture of that time. The probabilities of achieving such historical accuracy with mere two people would be impossible. It would take many people's decades of dedication of bible, cultural, history study to achieve such accuracy. General public do not have the access to the direct evidence which can prove the authenticity of this book, but indirect evidences are enough to show that how this book can be the true new testament if it ever existed.

Summary: An Obvious Forgery
Review: It's so obvious that the book was written in the 20th century. There are numerous "prophecies" after the event, namely of what will happen in about 2000 years. To quote just a few:

12:20 - In two thousand years ten times five hundred million people will exist, and the earth will not be able to support them any more. (Besides, this is not true, the earth is very much able to support us even now at 6 billion.)

14:10 - For over two thousand years you will be wrongly accused of betraying me, because Simeon the Pharisee wants it so. (Jmmanuel "prophesying" of what Judas Iscariot will be accused of.)

15:80 - ...by the end of two thousand years the new prophet will reveal my unfalsified teachings to small groups... (I guess the forger himself is this new prophet.)

25:7 - Two thousand and more years will pass, but in the meantime Israel will never find peace because many wars and much evil threaten the unlawful owners of this land.

Why this fixation with number 2000? Why not prophesy about the year 1500 or 3000? Clearly because it was written in the 20th century.

How about a prophecy of our modern machines of war? No worries, Jmmanuel has one.
25:29,30 - They will build machines made from metal for use in the air, on the water and on land, to kill off one another. They will throw heavy projectiles out of these machines made of metal, across the land and the cities.

UFOs? You better believe it.
28:59 - God and his celestial sons are other human races that have come from the far distances of the universe in their machines made of metal.

Mohammed is even called by name. Now that's a prophecy.
30:10-14 - And the time will come in five times 100 years when you will have to atone for this... A new man will rise up in this land as a prophet... His name will be Mojammed...

In the best Gnostic tradition, the villains become good guys (Judas Iscariot), while the good guys (Peter and Saul/Paul) become villains.

And who betrayed Jmmanuel? It wasn't Judas Iscariot, but Judas Ihariot, so it's understandable that the Gospel writers were confused. C'mon! Show little creativity, invent a new name.

There are also suspiciously too many references to logic, so I guess Jmmanuel also had some consulting with Greek philosophers before he was revealed to his countrymen.

If you're still skeptical, the last two letters which are supposed to convince you of the genuineness of the "manuscript" definitely seal the opposite opinion. The first letter reports that only 36 chapters, about one quarter of the original scrolls, were saved. However, the "translator" still knows enough of the rest of the story to tell us in three sentences how Jmmanuel went to India, merried, had children etc. Now this is extremely convenient, as only the parody of the New Testament was preserved. Writing the remaining 100 chapters would certainly prove a challenge because inventing new material in a convincing way is much harder than distorting the truth, as all good liers know; besides, the new chapters would provide more material for utterly debunking the document.

All of this is just internal evidence. As someone said, the text itself proves to be its own worst enemy. How about showing us some proof that the document is actually ancient? Sorry, "only the German translation survived."

In a series of mishaps, the only hope of submitting the document to the scrutiny of the experts perished. Here's the sad story in the forger's own words of how he killed his own imaginary best friend Rashid to cover up his tracks.

"This discovery occurred in 1963 as Swiss citizen and world-traveler, Eduard Albert Meier, and his friend, an ex-Greek-Orthodox priest, Isa Rashid, were walking along the road just south of the Old City of Jerusalem."

"But his presence there became known to Israeli authorities, and the camp was heavily bombed, forcing him to flee again, this time to Baghdad, where he posted the letter to Meier. However, he and his family, like the other refugees, had to flee so suddenly that Rashid had no time to retrieve the Aramaic rolls or his further translations of them, and they were destroyed in the resulting conflagration."

"In 1976 Meier learned that Rashid and his family were assassinated in Baghdad, making him (Meier) the only known surviving witness to the TJ's discovery and historicity."

I guess these world travellers didn't have enough money for a photo-camera, but they could have maybe borrowed/rented it and photographed the scrolls? Would that be too much too ask? Alas, all his lies don't help him much, because liers can never be inventive so much to successfully mimick the truth.

Summary: Be Prepared to Rethink All of Your Concepts of Jesus!
Review: One of the most powerful religious statements of the Modern Era, this book "The Talmud Jmmanuel" represents the translation of ancient texts that were hidden for nearly 2,000 years. The complete translations will never be available, because Isa Rashid was murdered before he could complete them. This translation (which resembles in many places the Book of Matthew from the Bible) will seem to you to be either the biggest piece of blasphemous garbage ever conceived, or it will represent the most thought-provoking delineation available of what might have happened, or what Jesus was really trying to say in his day. If you've ever thought that the original intent of the New Testament had been tampered with, then this book will be of tremendous interest to you. However, if your mind cannot conceive that Mary was not a Virgin (she was impregnated by the Celestial Son, Gabriel); that Jesus did not die on the cross, (he was near-death and nursed to health by Eastern Indian healers in the tomb); that he knew his life and teachings would be distorted for centuries to come; and that after the crucifixion he actually traveled to India, where he lived to be more than 100 years old, had a wife and children, and was buried near Kashmir - then leave this book alone. This book is extremely thought-provoking, but obviously not for everyone. Must reading for all spirit-seekers with an open mind!

Summary: True teachings of Jmmanuel
Review: There are many facts that prove this text to be the true teachings of a man named Jmmanuel (later falsely named "Jesus Christ"). This text is full of logic in wisdom and truth.
For me, this is a very useful text, and proves that religions are full of false doctrines and rubbish.

Summary: Eye Opening Book
Review: Who was Jmmanuel, was he the man known today as Jesus? Was there a connection to Ancient Extraterrestrials? These questions are addressed in this clear German/English translation from the original 2,000 year-old Aramaic scrolls discovered in a burial cave.

Even in the Bible they called him Jmmanuel.

Isaiah 7.14 "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Imman'u-el."

Matthew 1. 23 "Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son,And they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us."

I highly reccommend this book for the open minded. I would also recommend reading Celestial Teachings: The Emergence of the True Testament of Jmmanuel, by Dr. James W. Deardorff.
