Review: All of the Theone's books are wonderful. They provide historical insightfulness, well at the same time a wonderful piece of fiction. The main focus is always God and Christianity. These books are very inspiring and quite enjoyable.

Summary: Excellent lead into the Zion chronicles/covenant books.
Review: Having read all the Zion books, I was delighted to find that these books actually preceded the Zion period. Many of the characters would grow up and become a part of the Zion Chronicles. Well written, delightful, and full of examples of the love of God.

Review: I discovered this series while reading another series by Bodie Thoene. I didn't know a lot about the time period and I learned a lot. The characters are very life-like and the book is well written. For anyone who needs a good read, this is definitely it!!
