Summary: Wonderful tool to study God's Word!
Review: I have worn out my first copy of "The Living Insights" Bible by Charles Swindoll (Editor). It is printed in the NIV version and which makes the text easy to read. It has Book introductions, articles, that dig deep into the Christian faith and tear down any misconceptions one may have about doctrine. The Living Insights Bible contains character profiles of both well known and not so well known men and women of the Bible and makes them real! It has charts and time lines to help you understand and see more clearly when and where things happened. A few of my favorite things about this Bible is that it contains section summaries and introduces not only the Book but chapters as well. Also, under many of scriptures Mr. Swindoll relates the passage in way it's easily understood in what he calls "Living Insights." The Living Insights Bible is an awesome tool to use to study God's Word to make it more real and personal and really develop and deepen your relationship with the Lord!
