Summary: Should I stay or should I go?
Review: This book has changed my perception on the importants of world missions. As long as I can remember I've believed that missionary work was important, having grown up in the Philipines as a missionary kid. But I never quite thought of myself as a candidate for cross cultural ministry... until I read this book. The author takes you through the facts of the disproportionate imbalance between the reasources and the needs of this spiritually hungry world and asks the rhetorical question, "What in the world is God doing?" If you are a Christian and this book doesn't inspire you to support missionary work by going or sending others, you may want to check your pulse.

Summary: A required college textbook
Review: This book was a required text for an intro to missions course at Moody Bible Institute (www.moody.edu). I LOVED this book because it gave a great over view of missions and how God has moved throughout the years. If you don't love missions, you might find this book dry and dull. At Moody it seemed that the missions majors loved it. Most other majors hated it. (REQUIRED FRESHMAN CLASS all majors)
