Summary: Incredible Bite Size Pieces of Guyon
Review: This book is a terrific collection of parts of a book Guyon wrote to defend herself against the Spanish Inquisition. That three volume work is not published according to the introduction of this book but someone has taken parts of it and made this book. The wisdom and depth will stretch even the most devout believer and make him or her yearn for a continually deepening walk with our Lord. No need to be Catholic to read this one!! I highly recommend it to anyone that is serious about their walk with Christ.

Summary: Dieing to Live
Review: To me, Jeanne's best work. She comes from the death on the cross and emphasises that the Christian has died. Just like a dead body can neither be pleased or displeased by what goes on in the world, you should be like that. See or expect no joy or sadness in the things external. Rather look for everything inhouse, inside, where God lives. Then she takes the christian into the quiet comtemplative silence of God where He stares at His lover for hours and where two hearts in love meet. Maturity she says will make you simpler, easier and bring you to the ultimate...union with God
