Rating: Summary: true nature of Jesus Christ! Review: This book really opened my eyes to Jesus Christ, "the son of man." I recommend this book, especially if you are not Christian. In fact, most Christians would probably reject this book upon first glance.Albert takes the reader on a very candid retracement of events, including facts missing from the bible, such as, on ancient Roman record, Jesus was tried for high treason, and not being the King of Jews, as was inscribed in anger by a mixed mob of Romans and angry Jews at his crucifiction. Nolan portrays a Jesus who saw that Judaism of the era was doing more harm than good. Jesus set out on a mission of truth, and was becoming an influential leader, which was a threat to both Judaism and the Roman rulers. Jesus is shown as a humanist who mingled with the lower class, which was not allowed in his day, similar to the story of Gandhi! This is a fantastic book, but not for those who believe in the fairy tale Jesus which most christians can't seem to shake.
