Review: True pleasure is gained by perusing the pages of this book. The photography is stunningly beautiful. The bible verse and devotion attached to each photo reflect and enhance the images and the interplay between them resonante in the heart. The author is a world-famous theologian and his prose shows a sure hand, is clear and illuminating. The shaker motif reminds us of that still, quiet place in which God speaks. This book would make an excellent gift, but don't forget to get one for yourself.
