Summary: EXCELLENT BOOK
Review: I highly recomend this book. It was so moving I could not put it down and read it in one night. It gave me such closure after my parents both suddenly passed away 5 months apart to the day. I have had such a hard time dealing with it until I read this book. I have never been into religion because I never really believed what they preached. I always beleived in God, but was unsure of the life after and feared like most people that there was nothing. This book truly changed my life and it is the first thing that has made sense of life after the death. I have such faith now and hard as life is being a good person pays off in the end. God bless Jenn

Summary: Travelog of a Soul
Review: I read the second book first as I had to order this one. On the whole, this is a good book, and my uppermost thought is, I wish more souls on the "Other Side" would undertake more such books so that we could gain a more balanced perspective. This book (and it's companion) are very unusual as it is written from the perspective of one who has passed to the Other Side...a real treat! I am not aware of another such book which is written from the perspective of the soul on the Other Side.

Since what I have read to date have been books on past life regressions, prolific NDE accounts, and books by mediums and psychics about the Spirit Worlds and the Afterlife, much of the content of this book confirms what I have learned from the others. So I am encouraged, about its contents.

However, in fairness, I do have a few concerns. Foremost appears to be any perception on the part of the writer of reincarnation. It is not only NOT mentioned, but presented with the sterotypical view that we only live once on Earth and then live for eternity in the Spirit. This is in contradiction to all else I have learned.

The author is very verbose and has a tendency to overstate and add considerable text where less would have been sufficient...thus I found myself skipping text which was redundant or excessive.

The author had at times a very defensive tone, with his many, many references to our human ignorance (which I found lacking in spiritual understanding, as we are all born into this world ignorant of our true spiritual selves). I would have expected an author whose mission it was to enlighten us with the facts, less defensive, and at times, condemning of us here on Earth who struggle to make sense of life or what is to come hereafter. What humanity needs is more understanding, especially because we do NOT have the facts at hand of these higher truths.

I found it hard to be critical of such a wonderful, and unique attempt, and wish to not do injustice to these works...but rather encourage more souls on the Other Side, to contribute similar works, which in their entirety, would constitute more enlightenment for us all.

My singular impression overall, is a job well done, with some reservations of its content, as I have noted above. Both books, this one and its companion, are well worth the read! : )

Summary: Awesome, very informative
Review: I read this book very soon after my mother died. I have found it has helped me so much to come to terms with my loss, even though I have always been aware of Life after. It is beautifully written, very informative and I would advise everyone to buy it whether bereaved or not. My only regret is that this book is no longer available in England. I understand that there are three volumes of this title. I strongly advise that one also reads ' More about Life in the world unseen ' as it is a worthy follow on book. I would love to read volume three, but am unsure if that is titled ' Life in the world unseen , volume III ' or is the title ' Here and the Here after ' I'm sure that I will end up buying and reading all titles written.! They are all brilliant ! Can we have them in England please ?

Summary: Amazing Book!
Review: If you ever feared the after life, then this book may answer many concerns you might have. It gave me a sense of hope, and something wonderful to look forward to. While reading the book, I felt a kindship with the protagonists, and a friendship that transcends time, and spiritual limitations.

Do yourself a favor, pick up a copy of the book, and enter a new dimension in your life.

Summary: Prepares one for Death, Mends the greiving Heart..
Review: In 1981 I worked for Hospice in Michigan, a friend of the patient had assess to the whole volumn set of "Life in the World Unseen" by Anthony Borgia. I read all the books to my Hospice patient, shortly after the last book was read my 37 yr old patient passed on, totally at ease, without fear. Her family was so happy that Sandra was able to hear these books, and I caring for dieing patients had all the books trancribed to cassett tapes and played them for all Hospice patients that wanted to hear them. I clung to these great books/tapes but somehow they were damaged with water through the years, I for years now have searched for these books and thought they were very old and no one knew what I was talking about when I tried to find these books, I felt I would never see or hear of them in my life again, they were old books out of print, I felt. My firstborn son was killed instantly in a auto accident 3 months ago, I feel if I could only read those books again, they would help us his family so much, the pain is so great. I found my books tonight by searching Amazon, I will try and get all of them asap. Could someone please e-mail me and tell me is the new re-writes the same as the ones I read and taped back in 1981, if no one knows of this set I read in 1981, I was loaned them by a family in upper Michigan and if its very important I still have a address of the Hospice patients mother (if still with us) whom may know the people whom loaned me the books. The books were in a case, eaither dark blue or purple and it seems to me they were at least 5 books, has all 5 of these books been reprinted, and are they word for word like the older set ? Can someone please help me to get all the books real fast. Thank You, Gods Love..Susie Shipman, Tim's mom....visit Tim's memorial site e-mail wtwas@bellsouth.net

Summary: As simple as it is sincere, as warm as it is heartfelt...
Review: There can be few people who have not at times wondered what happens after death. Most of us have preconceived ideas of heaven and hell - fostered in childhood, with little thought going towards the subject since. The church has always claimed exclusivity with such matters as the `souls salvation', and as such, heaven is thought of as being a most difficult place to enter - only for `the saved'.

To discover what kind of place the next world is, we must inquire of someone who lives there, and record what is said; that is what has been done in this book. The end result is a book as simple as it is sincere, as warm as it is heartfelt. Giving one of the most comprehensive accounts of the life and conditions of the spirit world and its people, this book is rightly regarded as a classic of Spiritualist literature.

The communicator, Monsignor Robert Hugh Benson, delightfully shows us, with both humour and compassion, how many of our preconceived notions of `the next life' are substantially incorrect. One of the great regrets from his earth life was that he too added to this general misconception by his writing The Necromancers, a book which dealt with the subject of spirit return, but which gave a distorted view of the facts. The writing of the present volume, however, has enabled Monsignor to redress his wrongs.

The countless millions of people, of whatever religion (or none), who have simply undergone the natural and normal process of `death', find themselves to be the inheritors of a vast world; a world of both unsurpassed beauty and illimitable opportunity.

On passing to the spirit world, every person, regardless of colour or creed, will find themselves the inheritors of precisely the spiritual abode to which their earthly lives have befitted them. The spirit world is the land of the great harvest, the seeds of which were sown upon the earth: "Whatever a man sows, that shall he reap" has its full and just application. Those who find themselves in the bleak and meagre surroundings of the dark realms have only themselves to reproach, for what they see about them is an outward expression of the current state of their spiritual progression. Just as the beauties of the light realms are created and upheld by theirs inhabitants, so have the conditions of the dark realms been brought about: beauty of deed and thought can produce nothing but beauty.

We have been taught to believe that God punishes, actually punishes people by condemning them to Hell for all eternity. The churches have built up a monstrous conception of the Eternal Father of Heaven. It is man alone who qualifies himself for the state of his existence after his passing into spirit. There is no `Judgement Day' to fear - that which has always been such a powerful weapon in the ecclesiastical armoury; every soul living in the dark realms has judged themselves.

Spiritual progression is the birthright of every soul, however, and no matter how low they may have sunk spiritually, it is within the power of each and everyone to attain to the highest heaven; nothing stands in their way but themselves. Great organisations exist in the spirit world with dedicated helpers working to assist all those affected souls who live in darkness, with the hope that they will rise out of it into the light. The urge, however, must come from within the fallen soul himself.

Adherence to any religious faith, in itself, has no relevance, or bearing, towards ones inheritance in the great world of spirit. Services that are performed for a fellow being, with no other intention than that of helping him, or of bringing him some good, is the substance of which spiritual progression is composed. Those good deeds are reflected back upon us, and so go to make up our inheritance in the spirit world. No service, however small, or however unobtrusively performed, is overlooked or gone `unrecorded', and each go to add still more colour to our spiritual make up.

Religion being such a potent force, however, it binds the minds of so many good people. Whole communities of people can be found who still exercise their old earthly religion. They are free to do so, and no pressure is brought to bear upon them, for free will is an ever-respected attribute of life in spirit realms. The members of these communities know that they have passed on, but think that part of their heavenly reward is to continue with their man-made forms of worship. They will continue to do so until such time as a spiritual awakening takes place; mental resurrection, however, must come from within.

There are also those who fervently uphold that a future state does not exist, or those who never gave the matter much thought. These individuals also have to be helped in their early days. Simply showing the newly arrived soul what kind of place the spirit world is does much useful work however, and many soon but realise that: Orthodoxy is man-made, but that the universe is God-given.

In company with Ruth (whose meeting Monsignor describes in this volume) Edwin, an old friend and colleague, acts as their guide, showing them the beauties of their new life and the freedom that comes with it...

Summary: Superb! Accurate description of Life After this Body
Review: This book gives vivid details on life in the world beyond this one. Not only doesit give descriptions of the surroundings but as the story progresses one learns the "policies and procedures" for functioning without a body. From what I am told from several sources(near death experiences and angel channelings) it is a very acacurate accounting. Enjoy
