Rating: Summary: challenging for all church communities Review: I really enjoyed reading the book, but evenmore found out that care minstry really does work in practise. Ken Hots gives many very practical hints and tips, of how to make care ministry work in your church. Talking about love is one thing, but showing it to the guests who visit your church is another matter, or not?? Read the book. Experience the challenge and see your church grow. Why? Because being a christian is not aimed at looking at yourself and your christian friends. God brings in the harvest. Who are we to neglect them? Read it. Do it. Enjoy it.
Rating: Summary: a much needed book Review: This book is a source of encouragement and well worth the read if you really want your church to grow. It is an easy read yet full of impact and should change the way you look at visitors to your services. It is not a professional type book, but rather written from the heart. It tends to be a bit redundant and repititious. But most of the things repeated are things that the average church member needs to take to heart. The points made are real and need to be taken to heart if we want to reach a hurting world for Christ.
