Summary: Interesting...
Review: Communion With God is the most logical and comprehensive explanation of GOD and our existence that I have ever experienced. Neale has expressed our connection to Source and each other with clarity and humility. While reading this book, I found my own truth validated by yet another person. I highly recommend all of Neale's books and videos to all people of all spiritual paths.

Summary: A little more New Age...
Review: I have read CWG 1, 2, 3, FWG and now Communion with God. I'm pretty experienced with the concepts in Neale Donald Walsch's books and they have helped me in my life greatly. For me, this was one of the best books in the series. A few things I really liked was the fact that in the book "God" says to go within for the answers (page 108) so if you think this book isn't true, then believe yourself and if you think it is true, then believe yourself. I also found it very amusing that at the end of many chapters God says "And they were right.. but they made a mistake, etc." You'll see what I mean when you read the book. I thought it was funny that he kept repeating himself, but I do have a weird sense of humor so that might be why...

What this book mainly talks about is the Ten Illusions of Humans and how to see through them. Some things kind of confused me, like the Illusion of Ignorance. If I have no ignorance, then why am I reading this book? I know my soul has no ignorance, but as far as my human mind is right now.. I'm pretty sure it doesn't know (or, remember) everything.

One thing I really want to say in this review is that this is "just another religion/belief." We Are All One, etc. Many people call this religion "New Age." New Age talks about being One with everything and it also mixes in some self-help and stuff with it, that is the New Age religion and even if this book or anyone else wants to deny that, when you really look at it this is New Age. This book says it's not a better way, just another way.. yet it also says that it really is telling the "Ultimate Truth" and one day all religions will eventually tell you "the Ultimate Truth" which is what CWG (New Age) and every other religion claim to be. However, the nice thing about New Age is that it doesn't condemn other religions.. meanwhile other religions love to condemn each other.

If you are a fan of the CWG series, I highly suggest you pick this one up. But please don't get too caught up in everything and forget that Love is all that matters. If you were to ask me about my religion I would say, Love is my religion and the Universe is my church. The truth is so simple a child could understand it completely, Love is the answer! But being the complex individuals we are, I think we try to make it harder than it is. That's just my belief though, you can believe anything you want. Even Jesus said that Love is the Way though. God bless all!

Summary: Your Dreams, Make Them Come True...
Review: I have read Neale Donald Walsch's Conversation trilogy, Friendship with God and now his newest masterpiece, Communion With God. Like his previous books, the aim of this one is to introduce God himself to you, and God will explain how you can experience a wonderful and happy communion with God himself.

This book requires from its reader open-mindedness and readiness to see beyond the old and very faulty concepts of God. After reading this book you will understand why there is no hell, no

devil or why God does not judge.

This book also explains great illusions and how to overcome them. Illusions such as Fear, Disunity and Conditionality.

I have many dreams, and goals. Traditional church has not been able to answer my many questions concerning God, but Neale Donald Walsch has done awesome job.

This book will basically give you tools to transform your life into a grander adventure which will cause you to rejoice and be happy.

If you are looking for a way to make your mind about God, this book is certainly for you!

I have already had some very wonderful experiences with this book. Even a few mystical ones.. and it is such an amazing thing!

I know that my dream of moving to the States, studying and working there is one thing that God has inspired me to consider. In a similar manner, everyone of you will get your dreams fulfilled with the help of this book! I don't know how it happens, but after all..it is God who is helping us!

Awesome book.. buy it!

Summary: Everyone Should Read This Book
Review: I have read Neale Donald Walsh's first two COnversations with God books and was impressed especially with the first one. So, I checked into this one and found that it was by far the most impressive book I have ever read. My attitude and outlook on life has changed. Everything seems lighter and anything seems possible. Your life is what you make it and this book has helped me to understand how that is possible. I got my book from the library and I bought this one for my best friend.

Summary: Silent Listener
Review: It is said "Communication is the key to success" but how and when do we communicate with God? Neale Donald Walsch has a way showing his readers how to be communicate with the ultimate super power 'God' and develop a friendly relation, irrelevant of the fact whether you can see him, meet him or not! Neale's dialogue with god fetches him back the answers that he could not visualize and foresee. The secret lies in talking, simple plain questions like:
Q. God please be here. We need help.
A. I am here
Q. We need help
A. I know
Q. Right Now
A. I understand
Q. The world is on brink of disaster and I'm not talking about natural disaster but about man made calamity.
A. I know. And you're right. You understand the severity of the problem. you simply do not understand the nature of the problem. You do now know what is causing it. So you keep trying to solve it at every level except the level at which it exists.
Q. Which is?
A.The problem facing the world today is spiritual problem....

And the conversations goes on...The message of all the sacred scriptures is the same. What is different is how humans have interpreted them, says Neale. The argument about what Quran says, Bible says, veda says, what Bhagwad Gita says is mind set thoughts of human brains. It is who you believe in that concerns most. I guess the message of Neale Donald Walsch's Conversation with god is all about communion with God, enlightening oneself and doing what is right. It is a step to break free from illusions and bring god in our everyday life to inspire, encourage and build within the courage to face the bare facts of life. A nice read with deep meanings to digest. Good Pick.

Summary: Another way to change your life
Review: Summary
------------
This book deals with the reasons why most of us fear believing in a God who would be present without and within. Many of us do not have a problem in thinking about an external God, but having to confront yourself with the idea that God lies within yourself too, this seems to be disturbing for human kind. The first part of the book on the "ten illusions" is aimed at showing you that many of your beliefs are logically inconsistent (not to speak about what they could be subjectively...). This first part should at least lead you to acknowledge the possibility of an all-pervading God. The second part on how to deal with these "ten illusions" to reduce their impact and even suppress them, at least to see them as illusions instead of thinking they are real. Finally, the third part provides a broader perspective on what has been said before to make you start the journey back to God, or back to yourself, which is exactly the same thing.

Comments
---------------
The "ten illusions" as presented here give a really good account on what many humans think is true and that they never questioned. The way the author presents these ten illusions is not focibly the best way, it is just one way to present some viewpoint. However, i think that the author has made an excellent job in presenting these "illusions", and this book could hence be very useful for the reader if she/he uses it as a tool to reconsider her/his beliefs about God and reality. Even though the way in which the presentation of the "ten illusions" is made can be questioned (everything can be questioned), i cannot find any fault in the statements of this book, so i consider it quite highly compared to most other "spiritually-minded" ones available.

Note
-------
This book is not meant at convincing you about anything, it is up to you to convince yourself about something, and you are the only one able to so. So if you pick up this book and want to get the full benefit of it, read it as it were coming from yourself and for yourself, not from some author to some reader. This is what introspection is about, it is between you and you. Reading something and being left afterwards only with a judgment (i liked it or not) is useless for your life. Reading is about living an experience, you are doing that for you only, not for me. If you do not live your reading, better do something else that you'll really live in full. The author does not get any benefit for himself except the money he potentially earns by you buying it.

Summary: The Message, Not the Messenger
Review: The message rates four stars. For a likely rating on the messenger, see the review dated 20 July 2003 by "a reader" who describes their personal encounter with the author. It is my hope that folks who get something good out of the message (as I have) will not be too dismayed when they learn that many folks who serve as God's messengers have yet to learn the difficult art of delivering the message with humility and grace.

Summary: Deep thoughts for hungry philosophers
Review: This book is an excellent challange to todays bred religons. It questions each persons personal relationship with god and the conflicts with what most of us have been taught about god. An excellent book for fiery debates on areas of religon. This book gave me the spark to intensly look at my relationship with god, and brought me to better understand religional teachings / guidelines. Freaky when he was speaking as god, I thought it was almost cultish...but when you see the book as a pure insight of philosophy, it puts the question to you: Who is god and how would you define your relationship with him/her/it?

Summary: OK, but lacks compared to Will Shad's books
Review: This is the most recent in the CWG series, and it begins a shift. No longer is the format a question and answer dialogue, but rather just God/Neale with one voice. Personally this if fine with me. I sometimes found myself thinking "Neale, get a clue" in the earlier books.

One of the things I have notice about divinely inspired information is an extraordinary command of the language, and an ability to say a great deal with few words. You will find that within this book.

You know... there are no accidents... It is not an accident that you are reading these words. It may have different meaning relative to you, but it is no accident.

There is no doubt in my mind that CWG is from a divine source. And even if it is not, I don't care... I'll take brilliance and genius wherever I can get it.

There may be those of you who doubt whether these could actually be the words of God, and I have no quarrel with that. A valuable addage is "Know a tree by it's fruits" And the fruits of this book are Love, and Understanding, and Happines, and Connection... And that's good enough for me.

Summary: Ohhhh yes!!
Review: This is wonderful..this is absolutely perfect! Neil Donald Walsch does it again. I devoured Books 1,2,3, and FWG, and now here it is, finally, Communion with God, and I devoured it also. Book One has always been the best in my opinion, and I read it more than a dozen times and still refer back to it often, but this one is a tie with first. Ok, so a new consciousness is sweeping the planet - a new awakening, new perceptions...what is it really? It is the Spirit of Christ...he promised to come back in two days, didn't he? And in the Bible, two days is as a thousand years and it has been two thousand years since we nailed him to the cross. Christ is not coming back in body, we are far too dangerous a civilization for that because we are still murdering our prophets, so he has come back in spirit because once we have changed our perception and remember that we are all ONE, there is no threat because the thought is nothing but our own...and we awaken. Now you may say that this is God talking to Neil, not Jesus...but we are all ONE, and Jesus is the Son of God and we are the sons of God and so our thought comes directly from ALL THAT IS...our own thoughts! Neil is not playing God, Neil is a god from God, and he is willing to listen. We are all gods. Did the Bible not say "ye are gods." There is another book that I highly recommend for anyone that needs clarification of how this conversation of Neil's is possible in the first place, and what it means... The Many Waters by Lauretta Lueck. She explains where the Bible says that God is the Energy of all energy, and the Light of all light, but the intermediaries of heaven speak for God to us through THOUGHT!! It is all there...in the Bible. Many authors speak of a New World Order including James Redfield, Gary Zukav...add Lauretta Lueck to the list. I read the reviews here on Amazon.com and see so many people asking questions about the Bible...stop asking and go to The Many Waters. It is all there, and then all of these books will become so much clearer as to where they are taking you...and why. I am emphatic about CWG, The Many Waters, Celestine Prophecy, The Seat of the soul...because they have changed my life. Email me at pf255413@hotmail.com if you have something to share.
