Review: A friend bought this book (which comes with a CD) last Christmas for my daughters (then 2 1/2 yrs and 1 yr). They absolutely love this book! They both sing along to this catchy and humorous version of the 12 Days of Christmas and laugh every time at the surprise ending. I recommend this book highly and am purchasing it for gifts this year. Warning: Be prepared to read it throughout the year! This makes an enjoyable gift for dog lovers of any age!

Review: Each Sunday, someone in church reads a children's story, before the children go to Sunday School. This last Sunday, one of our congregants walked to the front of the church with this book in her hand and a pair of floppy dog ears. After the first two verses, the whole church was laughing and getting into the story. It was the funniest and funnest Time with Children. This is a book that will get anyone's attention quickly.

Summary: My toddler was singing after the second time through!
Review: I bought this book yesterday, thinking my daughters would like the doggie pictures. My 2-year old concentrated very hard while I was reading/singing, and after the second time through, grabbed the book and began trying to sing it to her little sister! The pictures and illustrations are funny and the song is fun to sing. I highly recommend it for this holiday season!

Review: I used this book while enriching reading skills with spanish speaking first graders. When they listened to the cd they were immediately attracted to the book. We sung the song together and they pointed to the words in the book. I play the cd all the time at home. My Cocker Spaniel and two Jack Russell Terriers also enjoy listening to the cd during the Christmas holiday season. The pictures are very realistic.

Summary: A Proud Father
Review: My review of this book is somewhat prejudice since I am the proud father of the author. Of course I love the book. It has sold over 100,000 copies. The important thing is that it give so much pleasure to everyone who reads it (both adults and children) and has helped many kids to learn and enjoy reading. Emma wrote the book on the back of a paper place mat at a Christmas lunch two years ago and who would have dreamed it would turn out this way. She is now 9 years old and the leading fund raiser among 2 million kids who collect for the American Heart Association. She's also the number one scorer on her 5th grade basketball team (she's tall).Of course I'm proud.
