Summary: The Legacy of Planned Barrenhood
Review: George Grant has blown the lid off of the myth of compassion known as Planned Parenthood. They dismember babies. I am not even going to try to be eloquent-Dr. Grant has handled that quite well, thank you!

If you thought that PP was an organization in the business of helping women, you should read this book. (The footnotes themselves are a book)

If you are pro-life and already are leery of PP, you should read this book-they are much worse than you ever dreamed.

No supporter of PP can read this book with an open mind and still claim that PP is what they portray themselves to be.

Summary: Better books on the subject exist, but not bad
Review: I found this book very helpful in my research of the legacy of abortion, but I have found more helpful books. This book contained lots of information, but could definately have been presented with out all the flowery words and catchy phrases. I would recomend Intended Consequences by Donald Critchlow

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A Great Book and a Must Read!
Review: I read this book in three days, it was a page-turner, very informative, well researched and well written. Dr. Grant dedicated ONE chapter of the book to the founder of Planned Parenthood, but you can read more about her in: "Killer Angel: A Short Biography of Planned Parenthood's Founder, Margaret Sanger" by George Grant. Grand Illusions is factual, and I can't imagine how anyone can argue that point. All you have to do is look at the end notes. There are hundreds of them, including many of Planned Parenthood's own publications. Grand Illusions is written with a Christian worldview and understandably this will not go well with many. If you have your children in the public school system, then you need to read this book!

Summary: Usual anti-choice conspiracy theory literary journal.
Review: The book is another anti-choice, anti-family planning journal intended to arouse hatred and derisiveness at America's number one pro-choice facility: Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Inc.

Lies can be spread through any medium, including a book. One may think because graphic, libelous accounts are in a book that it is true: It's not. I recommend this book to pro-choicers and anti-choicers alike in an effort to understand both the lies and the propaganda of an issue that should be at rest: ABORTION.

Abort the abortion debate.

Summary: Grand Illusions of scholarship
Review: This book, complete with impressive numbers of references, provides for compelling reading. As a person with pro-life sentiments, I was initially captivated. However, upon closer examination, I realized I was reading nothing more than an elaborate ad hominem of Margaret Sanger. In addition, the book overgeneralizes its "revelations" to paint present day Planned Parenthood with a black brush.

This book is may be pro-life, but it is unfortunately not pro-truth. It is progaganda.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Every American should read this book.
Review: With meticulous scholarship, Grant exposes the racist, elitist, unscientific and subversive policies of Planned Parenthood and the free ride they have received from the American government, media and academia. The details in any one chapter would be a devestating indictment, taken together they show a horrifying pattern of Orwellian activity. The chapter on abortion-related medical studies (and Planned Parenthood's suppression of them) alone has probably saved lives. This is required reading for every parent, person of color, school official and especially for anyone who works with Planned Parenthood or sees them as a benevolent or merely misguided organization. Keep in mind that this will not be light reading (a bazillion footnotes) and it will shock and anger you, but it will be an informative and eye-opening page-turner.
