Summary: He Touched Me
Review: Are you the type of person who loves to read about God and His mighty wonders? Do you enjoy reading the bible and other stories of Jesus Christ? Do you even like to hear about the wonderful miraculous occurences and strange happenings that occur from God? This is definitely the book for you to read if you do enjoy those things. I can assure you that you will not be the least dissappointed with this book, He Touched Me. Yes, there is a lot that really would teach you about God and cause you to draw nearer to Him. At least, this what happened to me when I read the book.
If you like Benny Hinn and love to hear about his ministry, then you will never want to put this book down. I read the first page and was interested right away. I just wanted to keep reading and reading. After so long of reading, I actually began to know what it was like to be in the life of Benny Hinn. I began to realize how great a vessel Benny Hinn is for God. I would love to have a relationship with God like Benny Hinn does have with Him.
This story begins when Benny Hinn was not even born,yet and eventually leads up to the present day. It is kind of weird to know that he wrote an autobiography about life events before he was even born. Although, there were a lot of events that occurred before he was born that drastically effected his whole entire life. He talks of how he eventually came to know Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit as a close, personal friend who he can trust when he use to be a Catholic boy who did not believe in such things. You, too, can have a really close relationship with the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ if you devote your time to Him. Benny also says about how he lived in Israel and the moved to Canada and life-changing events he went through. Although, everything that happened to him was all part of God's plan.
He talks about the day he was saved and how his life was saved and how his life changed. I am sure that if you are a christian the you will definitely relate to this part of the book when he talks of being saved. I remember the time I was saved and will never forget it. It has made a huge impact on my life and my life will never be the same. Then Benny says how his life just kept growing closer to God and how he spent many hours everyday in God's awesome presence. I know I love to spend a great deal of time in God's presence. Benny basically talks about how his dedication to God got him where he is today. Now he is witnessing and changing lives for many people who are unsaved or sick.
I really liked this book because he did not only talk about himself, but a lot about how God is awesome. It helped me to grow closer to God by reading it, not just learn about who Benny Hinn really is. Many autobiographies, of course, talks about one's self which is what an autobiography is. Although, Benny tried hard to focus on God more than himself. This is what made the book so intereting and kept me turning the pages of this great book.
This book is a non-fiction book, of course, so it is kind of hard to talk about characters and the plot when there is not one to talk about. Although, this book was well-developed and thought through. It never was confusing and he made the book in chronological order of his life events so it would not be confusing. I never mislead me at any time either. Everything in this book, He Touched Me is backed up by scriptures from the bible even though he states his opinion sometimes about the way to live life. I know I would state my opinion also if I was writing a book. Who wouldn't? I love to hear about what other people think about life and God.
I know many people may not believe in God and never pick up this book. Although, if you do not believe in God, picking up this book to read or even flip through was not by accident. There are no accidents and there is a reason behind every single thing that happens here on this earth.
By reading this book, I have learned a lot more about God and it has helped me develop a deeper walk with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It has helped encourage me to depend on God for everything and that He is always behind everything working on his wonderful plans. No matter if it seems like your life is going no where, He is there and everything will work out. For He{God) truly did touch me by reading this book. I give it an A+ for sure.

Summary: An inspiring and absolutely true story
Review: I just finished reading this book cover to cover in a day. It was definitely too good to put down. Benny Hinn did a wonderful job telling his life story, including the trials and the happy times. I think the book was an inspiration to all, that not only does God really perform miracles, He loves His children deeply, and is always faithful. I so enjoyed reading about Pastor Benny's visions and encounters with the Lord. I noticed that throughout the book, Pastor Benny would take the time to give God all the glory for His miracles. What a humble man of God Benny Hinn is. Perhaps that is one of the reasons God can use him so much. I think this book reads very well, and if you haven't read it, what are you waiting for?

Summary: I always thought that Monty Python was funnier
Review: I used to love Benny Hill, but the dirty old man jokes do get old after a time. How many fart jokes can you put in a show? Monty Python always had the wit.I'm glad to see that he's still doing well and that death hasn't stopped him from producing. I'm a bit puzzled by the new faith healing thing. I didn't know farts could heal anyone of anything but indigestion.

Review: I usually don't take time out to read many books , but I made time for this one because it was hard to put down. This autobiography is written by a popular evangelist that most know from t.v. and known by many around the world, who have witnessed the life changing power of God. Power that is able to flow through a willing, humble servant with a passion for the very heart of God. Through this book you will be able to feel Benny Hinn's heart as he shares his powerfull experiences of the lord with his readers. You will be able to walk with him as he takes you into the ministery, his home, and around the world. You will learn of other ministeries and and individuals from everywhere and how God brings everyone together for His purpose and glory. Through this book you will find that Benny Hinn is a spirit led vessel immersed in the spirit of God with a destiny to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to all nations. This book shares his personal times and experiences and how God will open doors that we can't even imagine. It shows how God takes us through and prepares a way reguardless of what others may say. It will also answer questions about the ministery and how he faced over whelming bounderie with God, who came through every time. You will be able to feel what compells this man to spend his entire life chacing God's greatest desire. After reading this book you will know Benny Hinn more as a man with a calling and not an entertainer. I am very thankful that this author has taken the time to share his personal life ,thoughts, and notes with the world. This book is one of the most inspiring books written that I have ever read. It is truly spirit led and easy to comprehend. I feel that it will give it's readers confidence in seeking the very heart of God and knowing that Jesus is free to all and is as close as the air you breath.

Review: LET IT BE KNOWN: BENNY HINN IS THE CLOSEST THING TO JESUS CHRIST ON EARTH AT THIS VERY MOMENT! GET DOWN ON YOUR KNEES FOR BENNY! OPEN YOUR CHECKBOOK! LOOK AT YOUR SAVINGS ACCOUNT! NOW WRITE A CHECK TO BENNY FOR THE ENTIRE AMOUNT IN YOUR SAVINGS! How do you expect to enter Heaven if you do not give? Seriously, this sham-artist, Christ-charlatan beggar has the WORST hair I've seen on a tv preacher. But have you seen when he touches the sick brought up on stage? THAT is a total laugh riot. And the title of this book? HE TOUCHED ME? THAT is HILARIOUS. It is a complete, howling SCREAM! All religion is false. There is NO god. Do you understand? Religion is the greatest con, the most obscene deception mankind has ever perpetuated upon itself. The reality is, "heaven on earth" is absolutely possible - HERE AND NOW. You don't need to wait for the maniacal, Christian-fascist led government to launch into a nuclear holocaust to initiate some countdown to rapture-victory. What nonsense! The last thing a Christian wants presently is peace on earth. Today's Christian thrives on uncertainty, the threat of mass death and destruction, panic and mayhem. How boring it must be to live in peaceful times, eh, Christian? I'm reminded of a saying by an old friend: "Sinners are the grist for the mills of churches". Wake up you Bible-slobbering fools. Jesus isn't going to come back. WHY ON EARTH would you put so much trust into something which cannot be verified? Oh, that's right. You have to have "faith". HAHAHAHA. Yeah, tell that to the millions of innocents who have suffered needlessly. It makes me want to puke every time I watch a sporting event or an award show and the "recipient" of blessings looks up to the sky, thanks God, or says something like, "this was God's work, all the way". Summary: Hoping he'll still turn around...
Review: Mr. Hinn's testimony would be so much more glorifying to God if it weren't for all the inconsistencies that surround his life & ministry. God Himself has access to everything...and can bless us with whatever He wishes...healing...wealth...a business opportunity...etc, etc. He can also choose to WITHHOLD ..which is something many modern Christians don't want to dicuss..or even contemplate. The bottom line is all monetary things are temporary..can easily come...easily go. Too many ministries have succumbed to corruption & over indulgence...allowing themselves everything...denying themselves nothing..even though they can afford anything because God's people have sincerely entrusted their money to them. The Apostles warn Christians about the dangers of these follies...& the deception that entraps those caught up in this.
I've seen Mr. Hinn several times in person...I am not going to make judgments about him or his salvation..or even comment about healing. I will say... he seems to be indifferent about resolving issues raised regarding questionable handling of finances & unusual doctrines..both having become an unrelenting stumbling block to those outside the church & within. The critical issue here is...God doesn't overlook sin...Mr. Hinn's or anyone else's. Neither would God be very approving of the exploitation of his sheep...or careless stewardship, the kind that rejects accountability. God's judgements are more severe with His own who call themselves His servants. It's not acceptable for Mr. Hinn to refute any kind of discipline by saying....."don't touch God's Annointed"? Or dispute any reputable bible scholars criticism under the guise that they are 'Not filled with the spirit' in the manner that Mr. Hinn is. Does not the bible say all believers who have His spirit residing in them are annointed?
Sadly what appears to have transpired here...is that someone who started out with a genuine conversion...good intentions..and a very sincere heart...has gotten way off track...perhaps because the life of luxury & riches has become so intoxicating...that it's hard to part with. Mr. Hinn could regain much LOST credibility if he'd make his way back to his own humble beginnings...living life before God & men in an exemplary manner that no longer gives outsiders a foundation for disdain.
No believer enjoys seeing his brother causing others to stumble...but as believers we have a scriptural obligation to say so when he is. My hope is that Mr. Hinn will allow God's winnowing fork to do it's work..in his own personal life & not allow his lifestyle & ministry to mock God...even if that means losing it for Christ's sake.
A great reputation of honor & integrity is highly prized in God's word..but this is so rarely reflected amongst healing televangelists... whose central preoccupation amounts to little more than gimmicks to increase ones wealth.

Review: Not to mention Steve Martin's imitation of Hinn (he really did pattern his character after Hinn) in "Leap of Faith."
