Review: This is a WONDERFUL book. It makes all the complex events and personalities of the Reformation simple and accessible for a wide audience. I can see why it is on sale in Seminaries across the USA, from St Louis to LA (to name but two), and why top US preachers and thinkers, such as JI Packer, Ray Ortlund, John MacArthur, to name but a few, rate it so highly. It is a book that EVERYONE interested in Christian history ought to buy for themselves and give to their friends. The author is the maternal grandson of D.Martyn Lloyd-Jones and is a worthy successor!
