Rating: Summary: I Couldn't Stop Thinking of This Story . . . Review: The Promise Remains is a book that will forever be on my heart. I enjoyed the characters so much that I nearly read all of the book in one sitting. I couldn't stop until I discovered if true love would finally win out in the end! Also, Thrasher's style truly amazed me. I found the book thoughtful and well-developed . . . and I've already passed it on to a few friends who also loved the story. But I have to say that passing it on was purely selfish, I needed others to share the story with. It's a tale I could't keep to myself!
Rating: Summary: True love Review: This book is great! A story about keeping promises, standing up for your faith, and a love that stands the test of time and trials. Love sometimes means you have to say no.
Rating: Summary: I LOVED THIS BOOK... Review: This book starts off with a hook. It brings you in questioning and wanting to know what it all means. I had so much fun reading this book I couldn't put it down. After reading the last page I went on line and bought the only two other books that Travis Trasher wrote. I am like every other woman out there that thinks that a man writing a romance novel won't be as good as a woman who writes one. I felt like the story pulled at my heart and I wanted more. The references to GOD and life made me realize what I forgot as a Christian. It made me want to make my realtionship with GOD stonger. Also it reminded me that I should trust in GOD more.

Rating: Summary: Refreshing Review: This book was very refreshing. I Loved it I think everyone should try it.
Rating: Summary: Convicting love Review: Travis Thrasher has wielded a novella that speaks to our broken world and the downcast people who are searching for truth. His characters and setting are simple as is the gift that God has given each person on this earth. I recommend this book to anyone who is searching for "more" and for the person who feels that true love is worth the wait. Outstanding!
Rating: Summary: Heart-tugging Review: Travis Thrasher has written a warm and tender story of lasting love. This novella would be a perfect gift for the one you love.
Rating: Summary: Very emotional novel... Review: Travis Thrasher's first novel, The Promise Remains, should be on the must read list for all high school and college women. It reminds us all that marriage should not be taken lightly, especially when there are serious differences in spiritual practices. Sara Anthony and Ethan Ware originally met during high school, when Sara attended a summer church camp and Ethan lived near the campsite. They exchanged letters, phone calls and visits over the years and fell in love. Ethan proposed to Sara, but she refused because he had not yet become a Christian. He promised he would love her forever, and she promised to keep praying for him. Years later, several events lead to their reunion. I thought the book was extremely well written and very emotionally satisfying. My only complaint is that the build-up to the climax far overswept the actual reunion of Sara and Ethan. For that reason, I give it closer to 3.5 stars.
