Summary: Delightful!
Review: A Thanksgiving cruise to the Caribbean promises to be a healing balm for two families. Sunny Elders hopes her sister Melinda's depression will lift after they have lost both parents to devastating illnesses. Sunny agrees to spend time with her teen-age niece and adolescent nephew while Melinda and her husband renew their relationship. Sunny, a nurse, took care
of both her parents, and as her name belies has hidden her own grief relying on her faith to get her through her pain.
Enter Dan Jarrett, a Texas rancher, angry at the world. He didn't ask to be on this cruise. But his mother and her new husband wanted the family together for the holiday. Dan is suspicious of Charlie's motive in marrying his mother. After all, his mother was pretty well fixed after the death of
his father. His sister accepted Charlie, but he was having none of it. Then he meets the Mistress of Mayhem as he calls Sunny and finds himself more and more drawn to this good-natured lady.
Events take a turn that has both of them examining the paths of their lives. This is a delightful story of humor, healing, trust, and faith told with conviction.

Summary: Great Fun!
Review: It Had To Be You has tons of hilarious (yes, laugh out loud) situations and great characters.

Sunny: the clutzy accident-waiting-to-happen ER nurse with a sunny <g> disposition, steadfast faith, and great sense of humor and fun. Her dialogue tends to be very amusing.

Dan: He is actually what the back of the book says! Gasp! Anyway, he does think his stepfather is not good and he is straightalking. He also has a sense of humor, is nice to everyone (except his stepfather), and is not above apologizing.

Then there are their respective sisters, brothers-in-law, Sunny's niece and nephew (my two favorite characters after Sunny who get a nice, very well-deserved role in the book), the aforementioned stepfather...

The book is funny. Often gentle amusement, then suddenly it's hilarious. Such as the taxi driver who, told they (Sunny and Dan) were in no hurry, drove into the country to pick up the laundry...

Buy it and enjoy it! You won't regret it.

Summary: Pure delight!
Review: Rancher Dan Jarrett did not believe in love-at-first-sight. So he had been appalled when his widowed mother, Esther, fell in love during a cruise and married Charlie Meyers. Dan was positive Charlie was a fraud after his mother's money. Esther and Charlie took Dan, his sister, and his brother-in-law on a family Caribbean cruise to show them the magic.

Nurse Sunny Elders was in her element in an Emergency Room, but a trouble magnet outside the hospital walls. Her depressed sister had been in dire need of a vacation with her husband. So off on a cruise they went! Sunny took charge of her niece and nephew on board the Love Ahoy and trouble took charge of Sunny, as usual. And a few "Crazy Aunt Sunny mishaps" was what brought Dan and Sunny together. Sometimes God works in mysterious, and often hilarious, ways!

This book is pure delight! A sassy and funny romantic story that had me laughing (UN-lady like) out loud! This is DEFINITELY one for the Keeper Shelf, Readers! Highly recommended!

Summary: One of my favs
Review: This book is one of my alltime favorites.
I loved Sunny's possitive, zanny out-look on life.
I absolutely adored Dan and his overprotectiveness of his fam.
I would recommend it whoever is reading this review.
Windsor will have you laughing at Sunny's predicaments from the beginning to the very end.

Summary: It had to be for me!!
Review: This has got to be one of my favorite books! Though it is predictable (the endings to most romance novels are), the humor in it makes up for any downfalls this novel may have.
Sunny Elders fits her name perfectly, or at least appears to. She is happy and funny, but is really breaking up inside because of grief.
Dan is the opposite. He shows exactly what he is feeling, and consequently, at times, acts like a jerk.
The story is a good one. It teaches that in order to be really happy we sometimes just have to jump out there and have a little faith! You'll laugh all the way through it, I PROMISE!!

Summary: fun and delightful
Review: This is a fun and delightful read, a very refreshing romantic comedy. Sunny Elders goes on a cruise with her family, while Dan Jarett goes on the same cruise to find out the truth about his new stepfather. Two people with two different purposes for being there. The two keep bumping into each other again and again, until they begin to fall in love. Predictable? Yes! Funny, of course! Its a fun read, however if you're tired of the same predictable romance novels then this might not be for you.

Though I enjoyed reading it, I'd say that I wouldn't read it again. It's just too predictable and reminds me of other romance books, so if you're like me you might want to skip it. However its a very clean book, the author does bring in some Christian perspective and the importance of trust, and I'd reccomend it to those who enjoy these type of books.

Another reason why I've given this book 3 stars is because its not written very well, its written too simply in my opinion. Well to each his own, I guess. This might be better for those that want an easy read.
