Review: I've always been a big fan of Christian Romances, especially ones set in past times. All I can say is I could not put this book down! I stayed up half the night reading all that I could. It is suspenseful, funny, heartbreaking, and uplifting all at the same time. I loved it! I immediately went out and got the sequel also!

Review: This is one of the best books that I've read of its kind. I love reading and this one kept me hooked. If you have ever read a Christian romance that you liked, you'll like this one. There are many plot twists and they keep you guessing right up to the very end. Even with all the turns it takes, you never get lost - I knew what was happening from beggining to end. Your heart will go out to Sylvie and what she needs to go through. She is forced to make a choice between love and loyalty to her family. Her strong, though young faith in God keeps her going and happy through it all.
