Review: What a wonderful way to spend an entire evening...or just a half hour! Lori Wick shares her short stories in this Beyond the Picket Fences collection. Short stories have always been a favorite of mine, and entire recently there haven't been many in Christian genre. Mrs. Wick's collection of short stories vary. Some are simple and satisfying...others you fall in love with the characters so much you wish it was a full novel! Personally the Rancher's Lady and Be Careful With My Heart are my favorite short stories in the collection...but there isn't one I don't like. Mrs. Wick's personal note after each story also adds an intimate, friendly tone to the entire idea of the collection. Always, like in every Lori Wick book I've read, the characters and plots are endearing and you'll find yourself reading them over and over again.
