Review: Very good characters and theme. Witnesses to God's care for us. Well defined picturesque descriptions of surroundings. Mrs. Blackwell shows her intelligence and creativity in her writings. I could hardly put the book down. I believe she writes as well as the late Eugenia Price.

Review: While I must admit this book was not a captivating page turner, it was overall very good. My only disappointment was that it took several hundred pages for me to get really involved in the storyline. I am glad that I stuck with it because it turned out to be very enjoyable. This is the first book I have read by this author and she has sparked my interest enough that I will probably read the rest of this series.
