Rating: Summary: Well written -- you feel the emotions of the characters Review: A widower, previously hurt by an unloving mother and faithless wife, is drawn to an innocent, sheltered and beautiful young woman, Anastasia. Through misunderstandings, jealousies, false assumptions, and accusations Anastasia stays true and faithful. Her life is living proof of a Savior who cares and eventually her husband turns his heart to God. I enjoyed the interaction and conversations between the characters. You can actually feel their emotions. An excellent novel that I highly recommend for those that enjoy Christian fiction.
Rating: Summary: Good book by a great author! Review: Another wonderful book from Lori Wick. Anyone who likes Christian romances is in the right place! this one was different from most because most of their troubles take place after the couple is married instead of before. The characters prove that love forgives time and again. It's well writen and interesting. If you like Lori Wick, read the whole series!
Rating: Summary: Bre's Review: Don't get me wrong, I am fond of a Lori Wick novel. I am also fond of a good romance. As a romance, this book was good, but as a piece of Christian literature, it fails to hit the vital spot. I don't know how other readers feel, but I believe that a Christian novel needs to more than good, pure, upstanding, non-offensive literature, but also deeply challenging, focusing on the issues that effect so many lives. The book itself is good. It is well written, but I found Stacy to be almost boringly similar to many of Lori's other female characters. Ditto for the husband and wife relationship. I'm not saying that I didn't enjoy this book. I did, very much. I'm sure a lot of people will think I'm too critical, but I can't change my opinion, I'm afraid. However, if you enjoy Lori Wick, I'm sure you'll enjoy this one too.
Rating: Summary: MY favorite Lori Wick Book Review: I loved this book. Although I love many of Ms. Wick's books, this one was my favorite. I got caught up in the emotions of the characters. I got angry with the hero for the things he did, and rooted for the heroine. Its a great experience. LOVED IT!!!

Rating: Summary: Lori Wick Strikes Again! Review: I read this book a few years ago, and automatically decided that I had to add it to my collection. The story about an innocent Victorian county girl and a wounded, cynical duke is wonderfully thrilling. I cried, I laughed, I got angry. This book is a powerful witness of how God can turn a situation that seems hopeless into something so good. I agonized with Stacy over Tanner.
Rating: Summary: Fantastic Book!!!!! Review: I really enjoyed this book very much. Lori Wick outdid herself once more. I highly recommend her books. This book is about a lady named Stacy and the struggles she goes through while married to her non-christian husband. He believes her to be unfaithful to him. If you want to find out what happens you must read the book. I have read it more than once!!!
Rating: Summary: Great book! Review: I started to read this book thinking it was just as romance and not very many Christian aspects to it. I was very wrong the books has many verses, and a good Christian view. It shares how to become a Christian, yet stll it works wonderfully om with the storyline. I will guantee this book to be enjoyed by all who read it.
Rating: Summary: It is a Christian bokk no matter what way you look at it. Review: I started to read this book thinking it was just as romance and not very many Christian aspects to it. Rating: Summary: Simply unrealistic Review: I was very disappointed in this book. The main character was out of her mind, you do not stay in an abusive relationship, Christian or not! I thought her reactions to Tanner's abuse were unrealistic. I would not want either of my girls to read this book for fear that they would think that the relationship between Stacy and Tanner was acceptable. I thought the plot line wrapped up a bit too neatly in the end, the writing was creative enough to keep my attention. Overall, poor story line and frustrating plot!
